Yet choosing that special niche that embodies some of your passions and skills is essential in producing a business that will be a success on line. In short a niche is basically an unmet need whether it be for a product or a service.
Believe it or not, the best way to find your niche is to engage in some introspection. Make yourself a list of questions designed to bring out all your knowledge and passions you have learned through school and work. Then rate your passions twice. That’s right twice.

Don’t forget to check out forums to see what people have to say about a certain product.
Meanwhile, if you’ve found a niche, but it is just too big a market for your experience level, then hold on to your hat. Simply make your target smaller, become more of a specialized business. This will make your market smaller, but still viable.
